Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had a lovely art deco feel and was conveniently located at the top of a hill in Spring Hill area, close to Roma St Train Station. The service from the staff, after talking on the phone, was very helpful and welcoming, making for a pleasant stay overall. However, there were some minor cleanliness issues, including dust on skirting boards, and the presence of mentally ill individuals in the area at night was a concern.
The hotel room had a good view of the city but was noisy due to its proximity to a kindergarten. Despite being different from the advertised rooms and having some cockroaches in the kitchen, the bed was comfortable and the space was nice. The service was exceptional, going above and beyond to help with a lost passport. The location was convenient, near attractions like Queen Street Mall and Suncorp Stadium. Despite being near shops and restaurants, it could get noisy. The dining options nearby were limited but with a few cafes for breakfast. The hotel had no specific comments about facilities.
The hotel has spacious rooms and is well looked after, though the bathroom was a bit outdated and grimy. The service was very polite and went out of their way to assist promptly. The location was excellent for easy access to the city center, but could feel unsafe at night due to the presence of some mentally ill individuals. Dining options were convenient with nearby cafes and a 7 Eleven, while the facilities were good overall.
